Israel - Ups Widescale Ground Attacks in Lebanon Despite U.N. Vote
Israel - Israel has tripled its forces in Lebanon over Shabbas and will continue to fight for now, but will halt all hostilities at 7 a.m. (midnight EDT) Monday.
In New York late on Friday, the U.N. Security Council has unanimously adopted a resolution, that calls for a halt to the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah.
Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah has said the militant organization will abide by the U.N. cease-fire resolution.

Lebanon: Hezbollah says it has shot down an Israeli military helicopter in southern Lebanon.
It was one of the worst days of the war, 19 Israeli soldiers were killed.

Israel Radio reported 100 troops wounded, which if confirmed would be the Jewish state's highest one-day injury toll of the fighting
