Rego Park, Queens, NY +Rash of Pickpocketing+ NYPD of the 112th Precinct is reporting, that there has been a rash of pickpocketing incidents in Rego Park.
The Community Policing Unit has made four arrests for pickpocketing offenses at the Sears Mall, 96-05 Queens Blvd., police said.
The 112th Precinct said shoppers should make sure to close purses and wallets tightly, wear purses instead of putting them into the back of a baby carriage or shopping cart, and to be aware of other people nearby.

The 112th Precinct will be continuing its pickpocketing sting operation.
