Manhattan, NY +Fire In Transit+ A fire in one of the cars on the "B" line train Brooklyn bound inside the tunnel at the Manhattan Bridge, FD on the scene stretching lines through train, all occupants being evacuated EMS reporting about 30 people are injured all minor except one that serious.

Major operation going on.

2nd alarm has been transmitted, the Manhattan Bridge being shut down, and a level one mobilization has been called by the 84th Pct Sgt.

Subway service on the B and D trains in both directions is disrupted, 70 people have been evacuated so far.

Fire is out and all searches are complete but rescues are still in progress, still removing passengers from the train that is stuck in side the tunnel.

FD reporting that between 3500 & 4000 people have been evacuated.
