Portsmouth, NH - Threat Against Rabbi Now a Federal Case
Portsmouth, NH - A Brentwood man that sent a threatening letter to a Portsmouth rabbi, as was reported on VOS IS NEIAS, is now facing a federal case.
Portsmouth police allege Elijah Wallace, 23, sent a strongly worded letter to a local synagogue while he was in the Rockingham County Jail last month. Court papers say the letter included graphic threats against the rabbi and his wife.
Portsmouth police charged Wallace with criminal threatening, but say he now faces federal charges.
Wallace pleaded guilty in 2003 to threatening the president and was sentenced to nearly three years in a federal medical prison.
