Fort Myers, FL - Memorial Service for Six-Year-Old Murder Victim

Fort Myers, FL - More than 100 friends and family members gathered to say a final goodbye at the memorial service of 6-year-old Coralrose Fullwood. Her body was found at a construction site near her North Port home, and police say she was murdered and no arrests have been made in the case yet.

Everyone tried to put the pain and drama of the past seven days behind them at the memorial service and remember the little girl.
Rabbi Yitchok Minkowicz presided over the service and says it's one of the toughest he has ever been a part of. "I don't think anyone can rationalize it. I don't think anyone can feel comfortable or good about it," said Rabbi Minkowicz.
This crime touched many in the community. In fact, one of the investigators from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement even came to pay his respects.
Rabbi Minkowicz says the family is still struggling to deal with Coralrose's death. "The family is taking it very hard." "If the world was more of a godly place, things like this wouldn't happen," said Rabbi Minkowicz.

The memorial service was closed to the public.
Coralrose was only partially buried Monday because of flooding issues at the Fort Myers City Cemetery. No date has been set yet for final burial.
Police say the investigation into who killed the 6-year-old continues around the clock.
