North Bay, Ontario, Canada - Cash Reward for Recovery of Body of Missing Boater Has Increased
North Bay, Ontario, Canada - A cash reward for the recovery of the body of Eli Horowitz, 30, has increased to $10,000 from $3,000.
David Stein, a paramedic with the Hatzolah organization and close friend of Horowitz, said not finding the body has been frustrating. "Our community is trying to do whatever we can to find his body," Stein said, adding as many as 20 members of Hatzolah, a volunteer-based emergency medical service, continue to search daily.
"We're concentrating of course where his father-in-law's body was found, but at this time we're also searching the entire lake," Stein said.
Ontario Provincial Police continue their search, aided by volunteers who have conducted extensive water, air and ground searches.

I don't understand:
I read a comment by a previous reader on VOSIZNEIAS stating that a woman who lives near the lake told the reader/poster of the comment that she had seen a man throw a life vest from the boat - and that the other man was no longer in the boat - but she didn't yet realize that this was a DISTRESS SITUATION.
If the reader who posted this were to report this to Hatzoloh in Toronto - along with what part of the lake this occurred - then Hatzoloh and the other searchers could concentrate their efforts on the section of the lake where this occurred (and not on the section of the lake where the father-in-law's body drifted off to).
I urge the person who posted that comment to please make that phone call.
This is very important so the Niftor's body can receive the respect it deserves, and his family can derive the peace of knowing this was done for him.
