New York, NY - Mayor Bloomberg Gave $144 Million to Charities Last Year
New York, NY - Billionaire Mayor Michael Bloomberg contributed $143.9 million in charitable donations to 987 organizations in 2005.
The mayor's office releases information on his charitable giving each year as part of his financial disclosures. The list does not detail the individual amounts given to each charity.
Forbes magazine recently estimated Bloomberg's fortune at $5.3 billion.

How much of that was given to Jewish causes? Shame on him! Gives $100 million to John Hopkins University but can't even give $10 million (or anything at all, for that matter) to Lakewood.
