Lakewood, NJ - Board Member Told He Has Conflict

Lakewood, NJ - Planning Board member Mitch Dolobowsky he was ordered off the panel by Mayor Meir Lichtenstein.

Bill Hobday, a community watchdog, said Dolobowsky is a proponent of restraint in more intensive development outside the downtown. Dolobowsky was told his position on the Municipal Utilities Authority conflicted with his Planning Board post.
Lichtenstein said Dolobowsky was removed on the advice of Township Attorney Steven Secare and not based on any position Dolobowsky has taken on the Planning Board.
