Tokyo, Japan +Strong Earthquake Hits Kurile Islands
Tokyo, Japan - An 8.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Kurile Islands and Japan's meteorological agency says a tsunami is expected to hit north and eastern Japan after the earthquake that hit the islands north of the country, they say incoming tsunami will be at least 6 1/2 feet high and Pacific coast residents should flee to higher ground.

A small tsunami estimated to be just 16 inches high hit northern Japan, warning for a larger one is still on.

U/D: 5 small tsunamis just hit Northern Japan, but so far the largest was estimated to just 16 inches which is much smaller than expected. (2n'd largest was 8 inches). but more tsunamis are on the way an official said. - A.B.K
