Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY +Person Shot+ A male about 47-years-old Efraim Klien HY"D a member of the Lubavitch community in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, N.Y. was shot once in the right arm and once in the upper right side of his chest and killed in middle of the night out side his home on Carroll Street between Schenectady and Utica, after moving his car from one side of the street to the other, Hatzolah transported the aided in traumatic arrest to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced DOA. NYPD of the 71st Pct, ESU, Evidence Search NYPD Highway A.I.S. And Shmira Patrol Units are all working on the scene. PD are calling for a level one mobilization.

This is an extremely tragic time for the entire Klal Yisroel. "Kol Yisroel Areivim Zeh L'Zeh" It's a wake up call to all of us. If EVERY crime, BIG or small gets reported YOUR LOCAL POLICE precent will react to LOWER their STATS. Be sure to follow up with the 911 operator, because at times the NYPD members will down grade the severity of the crime to keep their STATS down. Keep on calling and reporting. The thrnout of 3000 people you said were there, made it obvious that a very respected member of the Lubavitch Jewish community was being mournd.
You could see young men struggled to carry his coffin also the grief on the face of the thousands who lined Eastern Parkway.
