New York - US Helicopter Delays JFK Shuttle Start
New York - US Helicopter has pushed back to March 27 its start date for regular helicopter shuttle service to JFK Airport.
The service, originally scheduled to begin March 13, promises to deliver passengers to or from the airport in eight minutes for an introductory $139 one-way fare, plus taxes and security fees.
The company's web site is going live today to accept bookings.
Its Wall Street heliport will include federal security screeners, meaning that passengers bound for flights on American Airlines, where the helicopters will land, will be able to bypass the security and check-in lines at JFK.
