Williamsburg, Brooklyn - NYFD Firefighters Discover Marijuana-Growing Operation

Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY - Firefighters of Ladder 108 who battled a Brooklyn blaze yesterday about noon time at 131 Kent Avenue and North 6th Street, discovered a marijuana-growing operation that included about 40 pounds of pot wrapped and ready for sale.
As the ladder company dodged flames on the 2nd floor and searched the rest of the building, they spotted the illegal drug den on the top floor of the four-story building, of about 150 marijuana plants, 40 pounds of packaged drugs and a sophisticated hydroponic pot-growing setup with rows of lights and other equipment.
