UK - Anti-Semitism Is At Its Second Highest Level In 20 Years

UK - Anti-Seitism across the UK is at its second highest level in 20 years.

The Community Security Trust's (CST) 2005 anti-Semitic incidents report, published this week, says that during the year there were 83 violent anti-Semitic assaults and 107 incidents targeting synagogue buildings and their staff in the UK.

The report does not provide a breakdown of the numbers of attacks in specific areas.

But the report showes that 2005 was 14 per cent lower than 2004, though there are concerns over longer-term trends and public attitudes towards Jews.
