Suffern, NY - Good Sam Hospital Doctor Arrested At Hospital, With Marijuana In His Possession

Suffern, NY - A Good Samaritan Hospital has dismissed an emergency room doctor who was arrested at work for possessing marijuana. Dr. Eric Silva was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and third-degree aggravated harassment.

Police said they went to Good Samaritan with a warrant for Silva's arrest and found a marijuana cigarette in his possession.

Dr. Michael Lippe said that, Silva is no longer associated with the hospital. Lippe is the hospital's emergency room director.
