Canada - Two Canadian Jews Donate Ipod's to Israeli Soldiers
Canada - Two Canadian Jews donated 450 Ipods to Israeli soldiers fighting in Lebanon.
Jerry Schwartz funded the first donation of 250 units. All wounded soldiers evacuated from the battles had already received their Ipods.
Walter Arbiv, on behalf of the Canadian Jewish Community, funded the second donation of 200 units. They will be distributed to Navy fighters as well as other wounded soldiers. Each unit is worth about $100.
Schwartz has also donated half a million dollars for fire trucks, air conditioners, food and toys for bomb shelters.
