Lakewood, NJ - Details Sketchy on Police Director's Exit
Lakewood, NJ - The factors behind the anticipated departure of Police Director Al Peters remain shrouded as township officials work out the terms of his leaving. Meanwhile, Peters said he remains on the job.
"There's been no resolution. All the details have not been resolved," Peters said. "I am not supposed to be commenting on this. They've put a gag on this thing."
Mayor Meir Lichtenstein also said he couldn't comment on Peters' job status, citing a restriction on discussing personnel matters. "We have the utmost respect for Mr. Peters and the programs he's brought to town hall," Lichtenstein said, however.
Township Committeeman Charles Cunliffe's response: "If you have the utmost respect for him and his programs, then why are you firing him?"
Peters confirmed earlier this week that he was informed by Lichtenstein that his days as police director likely were numbered, but he declined to specify why he's on the brink of being fired.

The politicians, police force, private and public schools, who's paying taxes and who's not, who's collecting welfare/food stamps, free school lunches, school busing, hiring/housing illegal aliens, real estate developers, etc.
Lakewood was a nice town about 20 years ago, but it's not any more. I wonder why?

Can anybody advise how to get this corruption uncovered and stopped? I am sick of being taken for this ride while the players get everything approved and get wealthy over my back....
The city officials are just as corrupt as the vaad...
If the city is corrupt who is there to turn to? Who can stop all this??????
I am ready to do what it takes to put an end to all this-let the crooked players get what they deserve!!

We don't need unzehrer in political offices.Whatever a Jewish elected official does is wrong. If he kowtows to the goyim, then how is he helping us, and if he helps us, the goyim have what to complain about. We should just try to elect the best goyim for the job.Lakewood was much nicer 20+ years ago.

But the Vaad does need unzera- its much better for them!!! forcing unzera to make certain decisions in their favor is much more likely then having to deal with nish fun unzera!

Just to set the record straight.
Jamesway was purchased privately by a donor who gave it to the Yeshiva.
The land for Cedarbridge was traded by the township to the Yeshiva in exchange for the land where the stadium is. The Yeshiva had purchased that property about 30 years ago. There was a plan to build an entirely new Yeshiva campus out there but it never got off the ground.

There are plenty of people that will vote against the vaad BUT there are still thousands of votes coming in from yeshiva guys that dont know better than to trust the vaad. They just follow the vaads advice like sheep to the slaughterer!!!!

THE PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL "ZR" SOLD IT TO THE YESHIVA AT A DISCOUNT WAY BELOW MARKET VALUE AS AT THAT TIME THE YESHIVA PLANNED TO OPEN A BAIS MEDRASH THERE NOT A BUSINESS ZR WAS PRETTY UPSET TO HEAR THE ABOUT FACE ON THE PART OF BMG TO TURN IT INTO A"CASH COW"

bmg is leaving the vaad and giving it over to raboonim in shtut
they basicallly got what they needed from the govt so the vaad served its purpose
the land in industrial park is worth over 100 million
they are all set for awhile at least
