Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, NY - Classes Help Immigrants Pass Naturalization Exam

Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, NY - The Edith and Carl Marks Jewish Community House in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, is working to make the way to naturalization a bit easier for Russian-speaking immigrants by offering free citizenship courses, and lessons on how to get that coveted blue passport.
The program, launched last May, "Nearly 400 people took part in the program and have already applied for citizenship through us, and 100% of them received it," said Lyobov Mikityansky, the Jewish Community House associate director of immigrant services.
There are 150 people on the waiting list for the courses.

Applicants unfamiliar with all the technical details of the complex naturalization process are likely to fail to submit necessary documents and paperwork. That is where the professionals at Marks Jewish Community House step in.
"We carry the full and personal responsibility for everyone's application," they say.
