Queens, NY - Testing the best route to the airport, the Wall Street Journal, sent five reporters to J.F.K.'s Airport to the JetBlue terminal from its lower Manhattan office at 5:15 on a Friday afternoon. The standard yellow taxi beat the bus, a car service, the subway/AirTrain combination and even the fancy new 8-minute helicopter service.

The trip via cab took 66 minutes but cost $60 with tolls and tip.
