Birdsboro, PA - Marijuana Bust At Kosher Slaughterhouse

Birdsboro, PA - Federal agents raided a kosher slaughterhouse in Birdsboro, Pa. on a marijuana bust, they arrested four men in the raid, including three employees; none were Jewish.

The agents had tracked 726 pounds of marijuana from a ship in Baltimore to the G & G Poultry slaughterhouse, which is run under the strictest kosher supervision near Reading, Pa.
G & G management defended their staffers, saying they unwittingly unloaded the cargo delivered during the night. The affidavit authorizing the raid suggested that outsiders used the facility as a drop during its closing hours, at night and over Shabbas.
