New York, NY - Mayor Strongest Candidate for 08 President Elections
New York, NY - Voters across the nation are prepared to embrace an independent presidential candidate in 2008 - and Mayor Bloomberg is perfectly positioned for a White House run, according to a new poll.
The survey of 800 registered voters conducted by Strategic Research of Alexandria, Va., found that 81 percent of Americans would consider voting for a qualified White House contender who isn't a Republican or Democrat. And the more voters know about Bloomberg, the more they like him, the poll found.
Forty-one percent of those questioned said they'd consider supporting a White House bid by the mayor.

Israel: Rudy humiliated Arafat (Y"S) by tossing the rasha out of a city-sponsored celebration for the 50th anniversary of the UN, much to the chagrin and outrage of Clinton and his State Department lackeys. A pretty clear indicator he is pro-Israel.
Vouchers: Endorsed the idea in 1999. The Left predictably attacked him for it.
Tax breaks: Cut taxes and created jobs while he was Mayor.
I LIKE HIM.
