i strongly urge the NYPDand FDNY to smash the car and then tow it.
Towing it means nothing to those in BP who care nothing about others.

THey go running to their buddies in SHomrim and get the ticket erased.

    SMASH THE CAR

THOSE BORO PARK DRIVERS DOUBLE PARKING, PARKING ACCROSS CROSSWALKS, PASSING STOPPED SCHOOL BUSSES ARE ENDANGERING THE LIVES OF OTHER YIDDIN. THERE SHOULD BE 100% ENFORCEMENT OF ALL TRAFFIC LAWS. FORTUNATLY, I DON'T LIVE THERE BUT SHOP THERE FOR RELIABLE KOSHER MEAT.

    To Mister 1:19

You're right, its a good thing we have Shomrimim so they can 'take care of' tickets for their friends.

I am sick and tired of these guys running around BP like some sort of para-police force, yet all they really do is help people break the law.

    jew haters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • At 3:27 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

"JEW HATERS" Why would anyone post such a nonsensacle comment. Unless maybe "JEW HATERS" was in reference to those double parkers - who risk our kids lives daily. If one breaks the law he/she should pay the price. Those breaking traffic and parking laws are endagering their own community.
    ENFORCE, ENFORCE, ENFORCE!

I HOPE ANYONE WHO WOLD LIFT A FINGER ON THAT CAR BE PUT IN JAIL THATS IF ITS A JEWS CAR

ENOUGH WITH ANTI JEWS HERE IN BROOKLYN

DONT COME TO OUR PLACE AND DONT TELL US WHAT TO DO

U WATCH THE CRIME GO UP BUT ARE WORRIED ABOUT THE SHOMRIM WHO KEEP IT DOWN

Yea a Yid can double park, block fire equiptment on the way to a fire in another Yids house and you defend him?

  • At 7:16 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

3:56 - don't you understand? THIS IS NOT "OUR" PLACE. WE ARE VISITORS HERE!!!

We are in golus and this is not our place. As visitors here we should behave like proper guests and follow the "rules of the house".

Maybe that's the problem. We are becoming too comfortable in golus. Now we feel as if this is where we belong. So who's longing for Moshiach anymore (chas v'sholom)?

  • At 8:36 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

3:56 Anonymous - Do you think that the BP people with the $3,000,000 plus homes are axious for Moshiach to come

  • At 9:32 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

    anon 836,

why of course the answer is NO.

On the other hand, why do you think every other house has a so-called shtiebel in it.

This way, this shtiebel and mega-million dollar house attached to it will go with them to Eretz Yisroel.

  • At 10:03 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

I think theres another reason they have a shtiebel in their house.

  • At 10:55 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

    to any cop or traffic agency on line here or fdny;

please, if you see a double parked car - just run your vehichle and knock off whatever you do. a ticket/summons is just not enough for these folks who just don't get it. period, they just don't get it!

  • At 11:18 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

    To 8:36 and 9:32:

Why do you automatically assume every house in BP is like that? I am the one who wrote the 7:16 post and I take offense at your blanket statement.

I am chassidish and live in Boro Park, as do most of my family and friends. Not one of them have a shtieble in their house - or a $3 mil house for that matter. In fact I don't own a house at all.

I really abhor the chasid-bashing that goes on here.

The fact that we are becoming comfortable in golus is not a problem that is confined to the chassidish community alone, as I'm sure you are well aware.

So why all this anti-chassidish rhetoric?

  • At 11:51 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

Chassidish Ahin chassidish Aher, the problem is in flatbush just as much as it is in Boro park. Maybe I can understand you double parking "just for a second" to pick up something from the cleaners. (as long as you leave room for others to pass) HOWEVER WHAT RIGHT DO YOU HAVE TO BLOCK ACCSESS TO A FIRE HYDRANT???? IF CHAS V'SHALOM THEIR IS A FIRE YOU ARE NOT ONLY PUTTING 1 NESHOMA IN DANGER BUT THE ENTIRE BLOCK!!!

  • At 12:48 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

I live near this block. First of all, it is right near Maimonides Hospital and many of their employees double park during alternate side and forget to move their cars. In addition, this area is very heavily mixed - Jewish, Latino and Russian to name a few There are quite a number of apartment buildings. I abhore double parking and am the first to say someone's car should be towed if they are blocking emergency vehicles, (and that area has plenty b/c of the hospital and the FDNY station on 12th ave) but no need to start bashing "Boro Park" drivers.

  • At 12:55 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

All those SHOMRIM bashers most probally couldn't get into Shomrim, thats why they keep on bashing Shomrim

Shomrim keep the crime rate down in Boro Park. Just wondering why over the summer all the breakins to houses were done on Shabbos not in middle the week and those done in middle the week were cought by our good yiden giving away their sleep for others YES SHOMRIM!!!!

  • At 8:42 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

I will say that it is primarily the chassidishe who commit these shameful acts.

It is their culture, where they grow up uneducated, not knowing how to interact with the umos haolam and are therefore, animalistic in their mannerisms.

Think I am making this up?

See how the satmar and bobov chevra behaved after their respective rabbonim were niftar. They are animals. Plain and simple.

If I am wrong, I challenge each and every shtreimel yid to defend your animal behaviors after the satmar rebbe was niftar. UH!

    I am waiting.

Chevra, let's not label everyone as the same wether Chassidish or otherwise. It's all about the individual. If this guy blocks a fire hydrant, or firehouse entrance on 12th ave, then there should be major repercussions... towing and stiff fines or maybe impound the vehicle for a week or so. That'll teach anyone regardless of what they are or are'nt. You break the law, you pay the price. As for those double parkers from Maimonodies, there should be a law requiring double parkers for cleaning purposes to leave a contact number on their windshields in case someone needs to get out from the double parker. As for all those wanna-bes from Shomrim, they do a lot of good since I had personal experience with them myself. But like all organizations, there are a few bad apples who think it gives them free license to do what they want... so called Yolies...
and those guys need to be reigned in by the people who run Shomrim...

    Very well said!!!!

Just a few self hating Jews jumping at the opportunity to bash Jews, no questions asked no differences the facts.

I agree there is a traffic problem in BP, but BP is very overcrowded if you want to drop of a package quickly it is almost imposable to find parking.
If you don't live there and HATE the traffic don't come to BP. We are going great without you.

By the way I do live in BP and do NOT wear a shtramil

I wish I never had to set foot in BP. Believe me, I wish I didn't. BP is the dark side of Yiddishkeit.

I am still waiting for a response on why chassidim fight when the rebbes are niftar??????

    I'm waiting.

  • At 12:23 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

The same reason why the Livak's were fighting in Bnei Barak when Rav Sach was nifter.

  • At 1:09 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

This happened again today on the same block. Cars were double parked and one car who was supposed to have moved because of alternate side didn't move, so a school bus was not able to go through and was blocking traffic in the intersection for a few minutes before he was able to back out completely.

  • At 1:14 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

    anon 1223,

I was expecting someone to give that response. Perhaps not too many people are aware of that story in Bnei Brak.

So, I ask, what does that prove.

That rabbonim/rebbes find it very difficult to lead or control the multitudes under them, sy chassidish sy litvak.

That is why the best place to be is in the middle------misnagid!!!!!

  • At 1:44 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

A yid must belong somewhere or you're a Chossid or A Litvak.
If you don't have A Rabbi or A Rosh yeshiva or A Moran Then you're stam a Goy.

  • At 2:04 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

8:42 you need to apologize to a tzibbur of ehrlicher yidden by calling them animals. Just because there are some individuals who act kineged the Torah doesn't mean that you can blame everyone.

Unless of course you're stam a Chosid hater...

You are all gettin ver excited too fast and jumping to conclusions without thinking it to it, let's break it up a bit.

First of all it doesnt say that he was blocking a pump. (which indeed is a fire hazard)

2nd it was at 8:59 am when theres alternate side in affect on that block from 8:30 to 10:00 very possible that someone was in the hospital early morning and didnt notice he left his car parked there after 8:30 so the summons is a minimal of $45 for no parking the question is does he desereve all these anti semitic slurs on him for that did he commit a crime? its very well not a crime, and very possible that the person double parking right next to him thinking that he was doing the right thing during alternate side parking was actualy blocking emergencey vehicles from passing thru.

    think before you attack.

PEOPLE HAVE TO THINK OF THE OUTCOME OF THEIR ACTIONS.
TO DOUBLE PARK 4 A MOMENT IF YOU ARE NOT ENDANGERING OR INCONVENIENCING ANYONE IS "B'DIEVED" ACCEPTABLE GIVEN OUR CONGESTION; BUT WHEN I SEE THE SAME VEHICLE NEAR MY HOUSE BLOCKING A CROSSWALK, CONSTANTLY, AND A MAN IN A WHEELCHAIR HAVING TO WHEEL HIMSELF AN EXTRA 30 FEET TO THE NEXT CURB-CUT, MY BLOOD BOILS!! (AND BY THE WAY, THIS PARTICULAR PERP DOES NOT WEAR A SHTREIMEL!)
