Eugene, OR - Man Suspected of Painting Swastikas Arrested
Eugene, OR - Police arrested a man suspected of scrawling swastikas on a police car, the Lane County Jail building and a private business.
The investigation began when someone discovered a swastika painted on the trunk of an unmarked police car parked near City Hall in downtown Eugene, and on on the jail and then the owner of Midtown Pipe & Tobacco reported a swastika painted on the front of his building on East 13th Avenue.
A surveillance tape at one of the locations caught the suspect in the act.
They arrested 54-year-old Brian John Conrad of Eugene. He was being held at the jail on suspicion of criminal mischief.
