Kiryas, Joel, Monroe, NY +Flood Advisory+ The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for the Village of Kiryas Joel in Orange County, NY.

The region has already seen between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain in the past 24 hours, and up to an additional inch of rain is possible now, with ponding of water reported on some roadways. The weather service warns that streams and small creeks will flood quickly.
Among other locations in the advisory area are: Cornwall-on-Hudson, Middletown, Newburgh, Goshen, Pine Bush, Walden, Warwick and Washingtonville.
