Nucla, Colorado - Body of Hunter From Washington State Has Been Found

Nucla, Colorado - Authorities in Colorado have found the body of a hunter from Stanwood, Washington, who had been missing.

Montrose County Undersheriff Dick Deines says the body of Robert Heichel was found today near a tree, about one mile from his campsite near Nucla, Colorado. And it appeared the 40-year-old may have been struck by lightning.

Authorities began looking for Heichel on Sunday and later found out he hadn't been seen since Thursday, when he left his camp to buy supplies.
Heichel had been camping on some private property. On Sunday, the property owner realized Heichel was gone when she tried to deliver a message from his wife.
