Oslo, Norway - Apology from Israeli Ambassador
Oslo, Norway - Israeli Ambassador Miryam Shomrat apologized for her criticism of the Royal Family, expressed on a news program.
The leader of the Jewish Community, Anne Sender had reacted strongly to the Ambassador's criticism of the Norwegian Royal Family, for failing to express solidarity with Norwegian Jews, following the shooting against the Jewish Synagogue in Oslo. "She realizes that she has gone too far. And I am very pleased for that," says Sender, who at first was furous, but is now just sorry. "The damage is done, and it is very unfortunate that the Ambassador has done what she has done. And it is certainly not on our behalf she has spoken, underlines Anne Sender."
