Fallsburg, NY - Bungalow Builders Rush to Beat Ban
Fallsburg, NY - No more bungalows. That was one of the provisions drawn up by the citizens and officials who compiled Fallsburg's new comprehensive plan. Approved by the Fallsburg Town Board, the plan doesn't go into effect until Jan. 1, and the board still has to revise the zoning laws.
Meanwhile, proposals have poured in from developers eager to beat the bungalow deadline: 46 new bungalows on Murphy Road in Fallsburg; 73 more bungalows on Heiden Road in South Fallsburg; 93 bungalows for the old Lakehouse Hotel near Woodridge. At the old Rosemond Campground near Woodridge, 29 bungalows are under construction, and the developers have asked to build a total of 177.
"The people are seeing that the end of the road is coming," said Ron Hiatt, lawyer for the Fallsburg Planning Board. "So we're seeing this rush to get them (proposals) in while they still can."
The Planning Board's not thrilled, but the members still have to follow the existing laws, said assistant chairman Ira Steingart. "Basically, until they change it, there's nothing we can do," he said.

Yeah... the love they have towards us, is "G'valdig"...
You can't be more obvious...
I really think it's high time for us to take matters serious, & start registering as local voters, & take care of business there.... as KJ did to Mrs. Sue K...
What do you people think, am I right???

YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THEM. THEY FEEL INVADED BY INDIVIDUALS THAT SPEED , DO NOT ABIDE BY COMMON COURTESY, AND LOOK FOR EVERY LOOPHOLE NOT TO PAY TAXES OR CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY. IF WE ACTED WITH RESPECT , COURTESY , AND NOT SELFISHLY WE WOULD BE MORE WELCOME. THEY FEEL THAT THE JEWS COME IN AND TAKE OVER.

No matter how much I try to understand them, it's aint happenin',
Come'n, open the 'Record' each 'n everyday, & you'll be reading there the most gruesome crimes that's taking place, up there in the Catskills region, & it's not us who are causing them their problems, do we speed? maybe, but that's not an excuse why to hate us, because they are much greater criminals than us....!
So. now please don't tell me that we're to blame for their hate crimes they're committing, by limiting us to build bungalows.
They're the sole perpetrators in this crime, & we should vote them out. Period!

Finally, a voice of reason. Thank you. Why does it seem that so many of us are not capable of seeing things from anyone else's point of view? I know this is an unpopular opinion, but, I really feel that we need to change our selfish attitudes so that we can live peacefully and be happy and safe. Just because there's a loophole somewhere, doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. If I was them, I wouldn't want us as a neighbor.
I'm so sorry, I've been very sad lately, and depressed. Everyone is so angry. I rarely see a happy person. I pray often.
Sad and ashamed in Lakewood
