Harris, NY - Catskill Regional Medical Center slashed 72 jobs, calling longtime employees to the hospital and sending them packing before lunchtime.
The layoffs, which primarily are middle- and upper-management positions that don't involve patient care, had been anticipated for about a week as the hospital struggles to right its financial ship.

What a rotten hospital.
Can someone explain how people invests hundreds of thousands of dollars to hang out in a place for only 9-10 weeks a year that has one of the lousiest health care systems in the tri-state area.
I don't get it.
