Kiryas Joel, Monroe, NY +BB Gun Shooting+ New York State Police have arrested four perps for shooting with BB gun into the front window of 29 vehicles most of them in the Village of Kiryas Joel and some of them in the surunding communities, no one reported any injuries.

Cops charge two in BB blitz

Woodbury — No one lost an eye, but more than half a dozen cars got their windows shot out in a BB gun drive-by blitz yesterday.
Hector Rojas, 22, and Matthew Santiago, 17, went cruising through Woodbury, Harriman, Monroe and Kiryas Joel in a green Ford sedan Sunday, popping off shots from a BB gun and hitting at least seven cars, shattering windows and windshields, police said.
Rojas hails from Washingtonville. Santiago lives in Highland Mills. Both were arrested Sunday by Woodbury police and charged with six counts each of third-degree criminal mischeif, a felony. A third man in the car with Rojas and Santiago was released and is not facing charges, Woodbury officials said.
State police also leveled additional charges — one count of third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and second-degree reckless endangerment, misdemeanor. While driving through Kiryas Joel, the two shot at a car as a father and his daughter were getting into it, state police said.
Rojas and Santiago remain in Orange County Jail today each being held on $10,000 bail.
