New London, CT - Rabbi's Car Strikes Woman Leaving Polls

New London, CT - A New London woman remains in critical condition after being hit by a van after leaving a polling center on Tuesday.

The woman was struck on Montauck Avenue, near a polling station at Harbor Elementary School in New London. The woman finished casting her vote, and was then hit while crossing the road to her car. Rabbi Avroham Sternberg was driving the Toyota Sienna minivan that hit the woman.

The victim is in critical condition at Yale New Haven Hospital. It is not yet know whether the rabbi is facing any charges in the incident.
