New Square, NY - Woman Dragged by Taxi
New Square, NY - A 58-year-old Spring Valley woman was scraped on her head and face after her coat got caught in a taxi door and was dragged several feet across an asphalt parking lot.
Esther Goldberger was being evaluated at Westchester Medical Center after the incident. Her injuries did not appear to be life-threatening
Taxi driver Gary P. Buiges, 52, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and was free on $150 bail.

that’s the way it goes in Spring valley, most people arrested in Spring valley are Spanish and have no money so they get bail charges of 100 or so, but here its a taxi company and does not make nay sense for 150 bail, a lot of people suggested a long time ago that the village of spring valley should be closed and everything should be under the town of ramapo.

I think the anonymous poster who asked which side of the street did this happen on men or woman must have left his/her brain on the other side of the street. What if this person was your mother, your sister, your best friend? This woman got all scraped up, she was dragged by a car, and all you can say is which side of the street was she on? That was not nice, just because you are posting anonymously doesn't mean the guy upstairs doesn't know. She is a human being!
