Israel - Suicide Bombing Prevented
Israel - Security forces thwarted a planned Palestinian suicide bomb attack during a raid on the West Bank town of Nablus.
In an earlier morning operation, Israeli paratroopers surrounded the home of Palestinian terrorists believed to be planning an attack against Israeli civilians during the holiday season.
As many as five of the suspects were killed after they opened fire on and hurled grenades at the advancing Israelis. Two survivors of the gun battle led troops to a hiding place where they had stashed a 22-pound bomb belt, which was later destroyed in a controlled explosion.
A senior officer involved in the operation said, "There is no doubt that we thwarted a major terror attack."
There were no Israeli casualties.

why did they explode the bomb in a control setting? they should have exploded it in middle of the village attached to the 2 people who led them to it.

Baruch Hashem!
I fear this large bomb that was found, won't be the last attempt.
Where's the world outrage at this bomb? A 22 pound bomb, which was designed to kill and maim hundreds!
Theres no doubt of the organised support, theres no doubt of the lack of Palestinian action in preventing it, theres no doubt the targets would have been civilian so where's the world outrage???
Or is it acceptable because it 'just Israeli civilians' ??
