London - Shul Makes Peace With Union on the Condition it Publicly Explains its Support for Neturei Karta
London - A north London synagogue has withdrawn its threat to secede from the Orthodox Union over revelations the organisation provided tens of thousands of pounds to the anti-zionist Neturei Karta group.
Members of Hendon Adath were furious when they discovered that the Orthodox Union, which covers more than 80 charedi shuls, had given nearly £60,000 to Neturei Karta over three years.
But after a letter was sent to the shul by the Orthodox Union just before Rosh HaShanah, it decided not to act on a vote to secede from the Union unless the Orthodox Union publicly explained its support for Neturei Karta.
In the letter, addressed to the shul’s board of management, Orthodox Union President David Frand said he was aware the community was upset “by the despicable antics of a handful of individuals”. He added that “the Union would not dream of providing support for these antics and this was certainly not the case”.

the Union has nothing to do with the Chief Rabbi!~ The Chief Rabbi is the head of United...not Union. Union are the chareidi frumackers that think the Chief Rabbi is too modernish

Neturei Karta in England would also like to know to whom the money was supposedly given, since they know nothing about it! As far as the website is concerned, Orthodox Zionists can "yimach shmo" all they want since they are hoping that the 30,000 Jews and other in Iran get exterminated by a Zionist nuclear bomb or other forms of violence. How sick Zionists are!
