Manhattan NY 3 Alarm Fire at the Riverside Tower Hotel

Manhattan NY 3 Alarm Fire at the Riverside Tower Hotel 80 Riverside Drive fire extremely on the floors of the hotel, reporting victims hanging out windows, EMS and aviation to the scene possibly a jumper down. All visible fire has been knock down on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 9th & 15th floors.

On our last poll, which police force to patrol KJ MonDroe.

Searches are suspended awaiting heavy duty equpment convoy from The Bronx and Queens that are heading to the scene, listening devices are being used to check for poss.

Boston MA, +Aircraft Emergency+ At Boston Logan Airport an inbound Air France flight #332 from Paris to Boston was diverted to Main, due to security concern, a passenger on board is on the No-Fly list. No incident reported on the flight at this time.

Washington, DC +Capital Evacuated+ House and Senate buildings, evacuation in progress of all the representatives, also from the White house. A small plane scare caused the evacuation, numerous military aircraft overhead tracking the unidentified aircraft that entered the restricted airspace and left and then came back again into it.

Queens, NY +Major Gas Line Ruptured+ A 2nd Alarm and a level 1 mobilization has been transmitted at 45th Ave. and 169th St. for a high pressured gas main break outside two school, businesses and surrounding neighborhood homes to be evacuated, 168th St. and 169th St to be shut down between 43rd Ave's & 46th Ave's. Gas leaking throughout the neighborhood from the ruptured 4 inch gas line, Con-Ed is on the scene but cannot shut down the main. All news helicopters to be removed.

Possible explosive device hurled near President Bush when he was in Georgia.

The Secret Service was investigating a report Tuesday that a hand grenade was thrown at the stage during President Bush's speech in the former Soviet republic of Georgia.

According to the report, a Georgian security officer picked up the device and removed it from the area. The Secret Service had not seen the device as of Tuesday evening. The agents in Tbilisi Georgia are working with the FBI, State Department and Georgian authorities to investigate the report, but Georgian government denies incident.

Plan to annex Woodbury land to Village of Kiryas Yoel MonDroe withdrawn.

In a display of being good neighbors, the Kiryas Yoel Alliance today announced it would withdraw its petition to annex 87 acres of land from the Town of Woodbury.

Queens, Locomotive Reporting Fire on Board

Queens, A locomotive carrying 150,000 to 250,000 gallons of diesel fuel is reporting a fire on board, the locomotive is located on Hempstead Ave near the Cross Island Parkway L.I.R.R. Train Yard.

Brooklyn +School Bus Accident+ 2 school buses are involved in an accident on Ocean Ave and Ave P, Hatzolah and EMS on the scene triaging 9 patients with minor injuries.

Kiryas Yoel, MonDroe and Village of MonDroe are near firefighting deal.

After the relationship between The Village of MonDroe and Kiryas Yoel, became murky five years ago when Kiryas Yoel created its own fire department, they are now closer to an agreement and to a financial solution.

Under the impending proposal, Kiryas Yoel would take over the role of primary responder but would cede authority to MonDroe whenever it came also will Kiryas Yoel pay MonDroe $1,096 for each fire response and guarantee at least $54,800 a year, the price of 50 calls.

Ferrer and Mayor Clash on Williamsburg Brooklyn Rezoning

The campaigns of Fernando Ferrer, a Democratic candidate for mayor, and Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg clashed yesterday over Mr. Ferrer's claim that industrial jobs are being threatened by the rezoning of the North Brooklyn waterfront.The city's plans include taking over two parcels where a storage business and a fuel company now operate to create a 28-acre park with an aquatics center that is part of the Olympic bid.

Manhattan NY +The Commanding officer for Transit Bureau 3 Was Shot+ In his office on the mezzanine level of W145th St. and Amsterdam Ave. X St. Nicholas Avenue stop yesterday. Captain William Roge 44 Y/O male is the high rank uniformed commanding officer and a 20-year NYPD veteran. He was changing his guns removing his .38 for a 9mm, and somehow, the .38 went off and that's when he was accidentally shot in the abdomen, he was semi-conscious, had no blood pressure but had a pulse, he was transport to St. Lukes Hospital where he underwent surgery, He was in stable condition and expected to fully recover.

The NYPD's Chief of Transportation Michael Scognelli who was rushing to the scene explained, "We had an accidental discharge".

Queens: +Police Officer Narcotics Unit of the 103 PCT was stabbed+ to the upper left side 2 times, once in the chest and once to his shoulder when he was performing a search warrant at 87-72 148 St. X Hillside Ave. and 88 Ave. Officer conscious not likely was taken to Jamaica Hospital, perp in custody.

Brooklyn. NYPD off-duty officers gun shot and killed his tenant.

The gun of a lieutenant of the New York City Police Department of the IAB Internal Affairs Bureau Division (the one that polices the other cops and investigates police misconducts) shot his landlord twice in the chest and killed him in the hallway of the tenants basement apartment at 645 Macon St. & Patchen Ave. in the Bedforf-Stuyvesant section, in an apparent argument over two months back rent.

The Lieutenant also teaches "Criminal Justice" at Monroe College in The Bronx.

They wait in Williamsburg on the corner for a day job.
